3D Animation
“Potions and Pillows”
Welcome to the bedroom of a young witch! This 3D interior environment took shape quickly when me and another 3D artist, Jessie Chen, decided to explore soft, glowy lighting and god rays. Working together to model, texture, apply lighting, animate the camera, and render, we accomplished the dreamy atmosphere of a witch’s bedroom in the evening.
Below you will find more detailed turntables of a few of the scene’s assets. Created using Autodesk Maya and 3D Substance Painter.

“Gothic Goddesses”
Created alongside fellow 3D artists Talayah Jones and Haley Kershaw, this 3D exterior is a development of a Gothic Monster world. The focal point being Merge Tattoo, a monster tattoo parlor with a glowing gem between giant fangs.
The goal was to create a spooky city square, juxtaposing “monster” and “human” elements to emphasize the peculiarity of some o these buildings. I primarily worked on the large apartment buildings, both the monster and human ones. Created primarily in Autodesk Maya.
“Checkpoint”
In this “tiny world” development, I wanted to create something that incorporated glowing lights and Romanesque architecture. That manifested in a parody of a video game’s checkpoint, otherwise known as the place you save your game’s progress.
Created using Autodesk Maya, this was one of my first explorations into 3D exteriors.
“Stewie’s Sword”
This is a simple exploration into 3D character animation. I challenged myself with a more complicated movement, using videos of myself as reference for the standing up sequence.
Using premade models, this is animated in Autodesk Maya.
